HUF and LA-based streetwear brand Pleasures come together for a collab rooted in 90s nostalgia, feelings of friends working together, and a shared disrespect for authority. Founded by Alex James in 2015, Pleasures is known for an aesthetic inspired by the subcultures of the 90s, and is guided by the motto: “A mood. An emotion. An altered state of mind.” The HUF x Pleasures collection is a true collaboration between friends that have both lived and loved the inspirations their brands are defined by.
Highlighting the collection are cut-and-sew pieces inspired by vintage thrifting finds, complete with co-branded graphics, reflective detail, and ripstop fabrics with mesh overlays and jacquarded artwork. Obvious nods to the 90s can be found throughout the range with graphics like the Party Line, Head Unit, and the Spore Socks packaged in a VHS case. The Breaking Bread and Together graphics speak to friends coming together, while the Gang Control tee and deck make it known how we feel about the authorities.
The HUF x Pleasures mood, emotion, and state of mind releases this November.
